Yes, I am a Republican, but this November, I will be voting for Vicki Tesoro.
Trumbull, CT– A relentless advocate for strategic and focused development, First Selectman Tesoro values Trumbull’s unique character and open spaces. Through Tesoro’s first term in office, she emphasized development of underutilized commercial and industrial zones, and maintained a commitment to preserve open space and have varied housing choices that meet the needs of all of our residents.
I have come to know Vicki, and it is clear to me that she has the best interest of Trumbull in her heart and demonstrates this in her actions. She is both personally and professionally an individual of integrity, a quality that is critical for a public servant. I encourage everyone to vote for Vicki for first selectman.
Vicki has exemplified true collaboration by nominating talented Democrats, Republicans, and unaffiliated voters alike to boards and commissions based on their ability to serve our town. And Vicki has provided results by implementing a smart and measured development strategy for Trumbull, avoiding wasteful spending, and improving the political tone.
