Not registered to vote? You can register day of — Election day voter registration will be held from 6am to 8pm on Tuesday 11/5 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.

You can vote via absentee ballot if you answer YES to any of these questions:
Will you be out of town during all the hours of voting on Election Day?
Are you an active member of the armed forces of the United States?
Will you be performing duties as an election official at a polling place other than your own during all the hours of voting on Election Day?
Do your religious beliefs prevent you from performing secular activities like voting on Election day?
Does illness prevent you from voting in person on Election Day?
Do you have a physical disability that prevents you from voting in person on Election Day?
Step 1: Fill out an Application for Absentee Ballot online at the CT Secretary of State’s website or go to the Town Clerk’s Office (5866 Main St., 1st Floor, Trumbull) to obtain one.
Step 2: Return the filled-out application to the Trumbull Town Clerk’s office as soon as possible. Upon returning the application, the Town Clerk’s Office may ONLY give you YOUR OWN ballot. If you hand in an application on behalf of someone else, the Town Clerk’s Office will then mail the Absentee Ballot to the applicant directly.
